About the Role I’m Sara, the creator of IDK Sara, a YouTube channel exploring self-awareness, emotions, modern womanhood, and the human experience. My content is reflective, storytelling-driven, and meant to make people feel something. I’m looking for a Freelance Video Editor who can shape narratives beautifully — someone who combines technical skill with emotional intelligence. Key Responsibilities Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 mins) Create short-form content (Shorts/Reels) Build compelling narratives through pacing, rhythm & structure Add relevant effects, transitions, sound design, and B-roll Use music intentionally to enhance emotions, not distract Integrate pop culture references where needed Maintain a clean, modern, creator-style visual language Qualifications/Requirements Someone who truly gets YouTube and editing for emotion. You should: Be fluent in Premiere Pro / Final Cut Understand storytelling, not just clipping footage Know how to use cuts, transitions, effects, and B-roll to elevate meaning Have strong sound sense — SFX, ambience, and music placement Be aware of pop culture, internet culture, and current editing trends Have taste — knowing what to keep, what to cut, and how to make it feel right Be reliable with timelines and communication Bonus Points if you have: Experience with self-growth, lifestyle, or documentary-style creators Colour grading skills Ability to suggest narrative improvements, not just execute edits Benefits Project-based pay (based on experience + quality of work | ₹2000-5000/project) Long-term collaboration opportunity Creative freedom while shaping the channel’s identity Direct, clear communication and steady projects
