Project overview
We are looking for people to join our sales team. Must have exceptional telephone skills with the ability to set and transfers call for solar over the phone and willingness to spend most of the workday on the phone. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH COLD CALLING AND CALL SCRIPTS. Leads/Contacts provided for you. This is a contracted position with hourly pay with performance requirements. The ability to read, write, and CLEARLY speak English is a must. Accents are not a problem, as long as you speak clearly and can be understood over the phone. Pay will start at $3.00/per hour. If performance goals are met and you transition to full-time – pay will move up to $4.00/ per hour. Higher performers will be able to negotiate higher pay. Our current cold callers are averaging between 2-3 transfers an hour. We are looking to build a long-term relationship with a team member who is ambitious, self-motivated, analytical, a “People Person”, patient, and does not let rejection bother them. Must have experience using a Power Dialer (we will provide). Must have your own high-speed internet and a headset with a microphone (you will provide). Should have at least 1-2 years of sales or telemarketing experience, with strong experience in cold calling and/or sales and customer service. Experience in selling solar panels is a plus, but not required. Must be willing and available to work between 7 am – 4 pm, Pacific Time (U.S).
