Ecommerce Financial Accountant Retail Ecommerce Ventures (REV) is hiring for a highly motivated Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day and month-end accounting activities, specifically focusing on supporting all aspects of the expense and financial reporting cycles. The Financial Accountant works under general direction of managers and senior team members. About REV Founded by entrepreneurs Tai Lopez and Alex Mehr, REV acquires and reimagines distressed retail brands and turns them into e-commerce success stories. REV’s ever-growing portfolio includes retail Stalwarts, Pier 1 Imports, Dress Barn, Modell’s, Linens ‘n Things, Franklin Mint, Stein Mart, and Radio Shack. Job Responsibilities: • Track, organize and monitor internal expenses for vendors and different systems • Manage expense reports, project and program budgets, and general budget reporting • Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly financial meetings and present to a variety of stakeholders, up to and including senior leadership • Support client invoicing for various projects • General organization of financial documents and receipts • Maintain reimbursement software and partner with HR Operations to develop appropriate budgetary policies for reimbursement • Responsible to help create and uphold financial policies such as credit card use and expenses, reimbursement filing, etc. • Create invoices and request payment for services rendered • Manage and oversee staff and leadership corporate spending • May have backup responsibilities for processing payroll Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting related-major or equivalent experience • 5+years of experience in progressively responsible accounting or financial analysis positions • Excellent knowledge of GAAP and familiarity of expense recognition guidelines • Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines • Detail-oriented and works well in a fast-paced environment • Exercise good judgement, respect colleagues, and work with integrity • Ability to quickly learn new technology; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, and SalesForce a plus • Licensed CPA preferred Salary • Depends on Experience (DOE) Location • Remote
