About the Role This is a fully remote position based in the UK with a contract duration of 6 months. The Senior Consultant will leverage their extensive experience in development and design across multiple industries to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of solution design, technical integration, and best practices to ensure customer satisfaction and quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities Analyse user requirements and envision system features and functionality. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable implementations by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout the development life cycle. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development. Interface with customers for issue resolution, provide status updates, and build customer confidence in the teams ability to deliver, supporting high customer satisfaction. Contribute to team meetings and troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Understand architecture requirements and ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities. Contribute to creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization in compliance with company guidelines, policies, and norms. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum 8 years of development and design experience across multiple industries. At least 5 years of solution design experience, covering technical integration. Experience with API Design First approach and knowledge of API Blueprint/OpenAPI specifications. Hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, Mediator, Business Rules), Oracle BPM Suite, ORDS, and PL/SQL. Experience with any API management platform. Experience and knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD. Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tooling, including Monitoring/ELK, APM, collaboration, ALM, dashboards, etc. Knowledge of WebLogic application server. Implementing security through OAuth2, OWSM, SSO. Sound knowledge of various operating systems and Oracle database. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with remote teams. Strong analytical, logical, and team-leading skills. Good understanding of the project domain. Ability to translate functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements. Ability to design and code complex programs. Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisite. Experience with Agile methodology. Strong desire to explore, evaluate, and understand new technologies. Logical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to collaborate.
