Project overview
We are a staffing company that schedules delivery drivers to sit in at a local restaurant as a service who will then deliver their food orders for the duration of their shift. This ad is specifically for the Northfield, Linwood, Somers Point, Egg Harbor Township, Sicklerville, Berlin, Voorhees, Gibbstown, West Deptford, and Swedesboro areas of New Jersey. Scheduling is very generous and we are willing to work with your availability. Shifts range from 11:00am to 2:00pm/4:00pm and 4:00pm/5:00pm to 8:30pm/9:00pm/10:00pm. We also provide a steady schedule and shifts are available year-round. This position requires the delivery driver to use their own vehicle for the job and have GPS of some sort. The dress code is casual while on shift. Compensation: $5/hr plus gratuities(tips) and a delivery charge (This may vary from which location the driver is scheduled). This is a position in which you receive tips as part of your compensation. On average a driver makes $14 - $20 per hour after calculating tips and base pay and depending on how busy the restaurant is. Most restaurants have a 3 to 5-mile radius for their delivery zone.
