Project overview
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Senior Market Research Project Manager is responsible for completing research projects from start to finish and providing actionable insights to help our clients position themselves and their products better in the marketplace. Methodologies include quantitative (online, phone fieldwork) and qualitative (in-depth interviews, focus groups) research. This position requires an ability to organize large amounts of information, understand the story that the data is telling, and the ability to work on multiple projects at once with great attention to detail. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop an understanding of our clients’ business issues and the industries in which they operate. Manage quantitative and qualitative research projects, from start to finish, within timeline and budget; Design questionnaires and plan analyses, coordinate sample and materials needed for online and phone fieldwork; Work with the operations team to coordinate project needs including questionnaire setup, fieldwork, coding and tabulations of data, and other analytical needs; Manage the overall project timelines, ensuring that milestones are met and signed off at the various stages of the project execution; Analyze and interpret project results; prepare reports and presentations SKILLS NEEDED: Effective problem solver with good analytical skills. Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, are required. Intermediate to advanced level skill with Excel and PowerPoint are required. Be able to think critically and analyze data. Must be well organized, personable and courteous. Ability to work as part of a team. Background and/or familiarity with quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A BA/BS degree required. 3 to 5 years’ experience in market research, data analytics, or similar position Degree in business, statistics, or similar major
