I need a complete CAD package for five box-section stainless-steel enclosures that will support a filtered fume hood weighing 180 kg. Sizes range from roughly 1275 × 950 × 1300 mm up to 1875 × 1050 × 1900 mm. All units share the same construction principles: welded stainless frame, hinged doors, clear acrylic side panels, and a flat roof strong enough for the hood.
I can supply hand sketches and basic dimensions, but I expect you to turn them into shop-ready documentation. Full manufacturing specifications are essential—every weld, cut length, hole, tolerance, and fastener needs to be called out so a fabricator can build directly from your drawings without further clarification.
Inside each enclosure I need a tidy cable-management path and at least one adjustable shelf or support bracket for equipment; you’re free to propose the exact layouts so long as they remain easy to fabricate and clean. Structural adequacy for the 180 kg load must be demonstrated either through sound engineering practice or a quick FEA check in your preferred tool.
Deliverables for each of the five enclosures:
• 3D model (STEP or similar)
• Fully dimensioned 2D part and assembly drawings (PDF + native CAD)
• Bill of materials with cut lists and hardware
• Brief design notes covering load capacity, material gauges, and recommended finishes
Use whichever mainstream CAD platform you are strongest in; what matters is that the files open cleanly and the details are unambiguous. Once the first enclosure is approved the remaining four should follow the same design logic, scaled to their respective dimensions.
If you have relevant examples—especially stainless frames with acrylic infills—please mention them when you respond so I can gauge fit.
