React Next.js Developer

We’re building the next-generation web version of an established product and are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to help lead the rollout.

You’ll work primarily with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, building the interfaces our customers use every day. The frontend integrates with an existing C#/.NET REST API backed by SQL Server. You won’t be responsible for modifying the API or database, but you should be comfortable understanding relational data structures and working closely with backend developers when API or data issues arise.

What You’ll Do
Build and maintain production UI features using React and Next.js
Work with Next.js App Router, SSR, routing, server/client components, and modern data-fetching patterns
Integrate frontend functionality with an existing C#/.NET REST API
Translate product requirements and designs into responsive, accessible, production-quality interfaces
Handle complex data-driven screens, forms, tables, filtering, validation, and regional/business rules
Identify API limitations, edge cases, inconsistent data, and missing requirements early
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested TypeScript code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
Maintain strong frontend performance and good Core Web Vitals
Collaborate effectively with a distributed, remote team
What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
Strong production experience with React
Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, particularly App Router and modern rendering/data-fetching patterns
Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
Excellent HTML5 and modern CSS skills
Experience building complex, data-heavy business applications
Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, reusable UI patterns, and frontend performance
Experience consuming and debugging REST APIs developed by another team
Comfortable understanding relational concepts such as schemas, relationships, joins, IDs, and normalized data
Ability to work independently in an async/remote environment
Strong communication skills and willingness to flag technical blockers early
Nice to Have
Experience with .NET/C# REST APIs
Experience with SQL Server-backed applications
Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library
Automated testing with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, pull requests, and code-review workflows
Experience with CRM, construction, ERP, operations, or B2B SaaS platforms
Experience optimizing large tables, dashboards, search/filter interfaces, or other data-intensive UIs
