I need an Android app that sells my products and stays in perfect sync with a WordPress / WooCommerce website. The core flow is straightforward: shoppers should be able to browse, search, add to cart and check out—exactly as they would on a full-featured online store.
Key capabilities I must have
• Product reviews and star ratings displayed inside the app and written back to WooCommerce
• Multiple payment gateways (at minimum PayPal and Stripe, with room to add more)
• Push notifications for promotions, order updates and abandoned-cart reminders using Firebase or a comparable service
How I picture the build coming together
The app will pull catalogue data, inventory counts and order statuses in real time through the WooCommerce REST API, so anything I change on the site appears instantly in the app. A clean, modern Material-design interface is important, but I’m happy to use an existing template as a starting point if it speeds things up.
Deliverables
- Android Studio project and signed APK/AAB ready for Play Store submission
- WooCommerce configuration or lightweight plugin that enables secure API connectivity and push-notification hooks
- Database migration or sample data import so I can test end-to-end before launch
- Setup notes explaining how to rebuild, rebrand and publish the app, plus how to add new payment gateways in future
Acceptance criteria
- Products, stock levels and orders stay in sync between site and app without manual intervention
- Shoppers can register, log in, purchase and leave a verified review inside the app
- At least two live payment gateways process real transactions in a test environment
- Push notifications reliably reach Android devices and open the correct in-app screen
If you have relevant examples or a rapid way to wrap WooCommerce stores into native apps, that will help us move quickly.
