Mechanical CAD Engineer for Consumer Product

I am looking for an experienced mechanical CAD engineer / product designer to develop manufacturer-ready CAD for a small confidential consumer product made of injection-molded plastic parts.

The concept and product specification are already well developed. I am NOT looking for product styling from scratch.

The project mainly involves:

* a small reusable handheld holder with perimeter clips and a mechanical release button;
* a small protective case with hinge and secure closure;
* a standardized interface around a small transparent component;
* snap-fits, clips, clearances, tolerances, wall thicknesses and draft angles;
* preliminary DFM for injection molding.

Required deliverables:

* editable native CAD files, preferably SolidWorks;
* STEP/STP files for all parts and complete assembly;
* dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings in PDF;
* exploded assembly view;
* detailed views of clips, snap-fits, release mechanism, hinge and closure;
* critical tolerances and clearances;
* preliminary material recommendations;
* basic injection-molding DFM notes;
* at least 1 revision round after manufacturer feedback.

The confidential technical specification and visual references will be shared only after an NDA is signed.

I am looking for someone with proven experience in:

* injection-molded plastic parts;
* snap-fit design;
* small mechanical release mechanisms;
* hinges / closures;
* DFM for mass production.

This is an early-stage self-funded project, so I am looking for a cost-effective solution.

Please quote a FIXED TOTAL PRICE for the first manufacturer-ready CAD package, not an open-ended hourly rate.

Please also include:

* examples of similar plastic parts you have designed;
* CAD software used;
* estimated turnaround time;
* number of revisions included.

Please do not begin any work before the scope and fixed price are agreed in writing.
