I want to speak Haitian Creole comfortably and understand the traditions that shape everyday life. My goal is purely personal—I’m not preparing for business or travel—so the lessons can be relaxed and curiosity-driven.

What I’m looking for
• Live, one-on-one sessions online (video preferred)
• A balance of spoken Creole and explanations in English when needed
• Stories, proverbs, food rituals, holidays, and other traditional customs worked into each lesson
• Light homework—short dialogues, audio clips, or cultural articles—to reinforce what we cover

Ideal partner
You’re a native or near-native speaker who enjoys sharing folklore, family practices, and the small details that textbooks skip. Experience teaching beginners is helpful, but enthusiasm and clear communication matter most.
