I run an optical-lens distribution company and I’m ready to migrate all day-to-day operations into a single ERP environment. The solution can be a tailored build or a deep customization of an existing platform—as long as it cleanly covers the modules and features below and is easy for my staff to adopt.
Core modules I need
• Inventory Management
• Sales & Distribution
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Key inventory functions
• Real-time stock tracking across multiple warehouses
• Automated reorder alerts triggered by customizable thresholds
• Supplier management, including price lists and lead-time monitoring
Sales & distribution essentials
• Smooth order processing from quote to invoice
• Sales reporting with drill-downs by product line, rep, and region
• Shipping management that produces labels, tracks parcels, and updates order status
CRM touchpoints
The CRM side should record every interaction, link them to orders, and feed data back to sales reports so we can see lifetime value per account.
Implementation scope
1. Configure or develop the modules and features above.
2. Migrate existing data (products, customers, open orders) from Excel and QuickBooks.
3. Provide role-based access controls and straightforward dashboards for warehouse staff, sales reps, and management.
4. Train a team of fifteen users and supply concise user guides.
5. Offer at least 30 days of post-go-live support for tweaks and bug fixes.
Tech stack is flexible, but I lean toward web-based solutions that can integrate with barcode scanners and a basic accounting package via API. Please outline your recommended platform, timeline, and any similar projects you have delivered.
