I already have a working iOS and Android code-base and now need a developer who can take it several steps further. The focus is on rounding out the business database module and layering in richer ways for users and administrators to interact.
Core feature work
• Business registration: new screens must capture basic information, detailed profile data and any extra, customizable fields I configure from the admin panel. All data should flow seamlessly into the existing DB and respect the current validation logic.
• Admin access: extend the back-office so I can search, review, approve or edit every submitted business profile, then trigger status updates to the owner.
• Communication options: businesses and customers need one-tap access to phone, text and in-app chat. Live video streaming is required as well, so users can launch or join a real-time demo straight from a listing.
• Meetings & reservations: integrate a simple scheduler that lets visitors book a slot with the business and stores it alongside the profile.
• Directory lookup: refine the current search to surface businesses by category, location or name and show all the new profile details.
Tech expectations
The existing stack uses native Swift and Kotlin paired with a Firebase backend. You are free to recommend better libraries for chat and streaming (e.g. WebRTC, Twilio, Agora) as long as everything stays fully functional in both stores.
Deliverables
1. Updated Xcode and Android Studio projects with the new screens and services wired in.
2. Source code checked into my private Git repo with clear commit messages.
3. A short README covering setup steps, third-party services used and any new environment variables.
4. Test build links (TestFlight / internal track) that demonstrate registration, comms and booking flows end-to-end.
Acceptance criteria
- All three registration form types save and retrieve correctly.
- Phone, text, chat and live video launch reliably from a listing on both platforms.
- An admin user can edit a profile and see changes reflected instantly in the public directory.
- Meeting reservations create calendar entries and send confirmation notifications.
If you have shipped comparable features before and can move quickly inside an existing code-base, I would love to see your approach and timeline.
