I’m preparing to build a salon-focused SaaS product that mirrors the experience of Mangomint, and I need a meticulous functional blueprint before a single line of code is written. Your job is to deep-dive into every corner of https://www.mangomint.com/—from public pages to the trial flow—and translate what you see into a clear, developer-ready specification.
The scope centers on three pillars that Mangomint excels at and that I must replicate for salons and spas: appointment scheduling, billing & invoicing, and customer management. I want to know how each screen, click, and data element supports those pillars and how they tie together in real-world salon workflows (client booking, service tickets, tip handling, product upsells, memberships, etc.).
Deliverables
• A structured Feature Catalog capturing objectives, users, actions, and acceptance criteria for every discovered function.
• End-to-end user flows and annotated wireframes (low-fidelity is fine) showing screens, states, and edge cases.
• Data & API blueprint: entities, attributes, relationships, and essential endpoints covering scheduling, payments, and customer profiles.
• Integration notes for payment processors, SMS/email reminders, and calendar sync.
• Gap analysis highlighting anything Mangomint overlooks that could give us an edge.
• A concise executive summary that a non-technical stakeholder can digest in five minutes.
Acceptance Criteria
The document must let a competent engineering team (human or AI) estimate, plan, and start implementation with no major open questions about core flows. All diagrams should be exportable (PDF/SVG) and all text delivered in an editable format (Google Docs or Markdown).
If you’re skilled at product teardown, UX mapping, and technical writing—and you can explain SaaS salon ops in plain language—let’s talk.
