I’m looking for an electronics / embedded hardware engineer to help turn an existing PI/TDEM hardware design into a working, bench-tested prototype.
The project is already substantially developed. I already have the engineering architecture, circuit concepts, component work, connection details, timing approach, and implementation planning.
This is not a design-from-scratch project.
I mainly need someone who can:
- review the existing engineering package only as needed for implementation;
- complete or correct schematic/PCB work where necessary;
- prepare manufacturing files and BOM;
- work with STM32 firmware and ADC acquisition;
- handle pulsed MOSFET / inductive coil hardware;
- assemble and bring up the prototype;
- perform oscilloscope and LCR measurements;
- debug the electronics;
- bench-test the system and make necessary first-prototype corrections.
Practical bench experience is important.
Preferred experience:
- PCB design and mixed-signal electronics
- low-noise analog circuits
- STM32
- power electronics / MOSFET switching
- inductive loads or coils
- ADC/data acquisition
- hardware debugging and prototype testing
The project is privately funded and the budget is limited, so I’m looking for a practical, cost-effective implementation partner rather than a large consultancy.
Please provide your approximate engineering cost separately from components, PCB fabrication/assembly, and testing costs.
I am based in London, but the final prototype is intended for Dubai, UAE.
A future GPR module may be added later, but GPR development is not part of this initial project.
