Commercial Building BOQ Take-Off

I have a full drawing set for a new commercial building and now need an accurate Quantity Take-Off and Bill of Quantities focused solely on the structural package—concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, formwork, embeds and any related accessories. I will send you my own Excel template; simply keep the column order, formulas and coding I already use for cost control, but feel free to add supportive sheets if they help trace the calculations.

Scope
• Measure every structural item shown on the architectural, structural and general-notes plans.
• Reference each line to its drawing number, grid line and level so the audit trail is clear.
• Populate the template with quantities, unit descriptions and remarks where coordination is required.

Acceptance criteria
• Quantities reconcile within ±2 % when spot-checked against the IFC drawings.
• No blank cells in mandatory fields (item code, description, unit, quantity).
• Workbook opens error-free in Excel 2019 onward.

You will receive PDFs, the template, and a short legend explaining my item codes as soon as we start. If you have questions about ambiguities in the plans, let me know early so we can resolve them before you proceed too far.
