China Electronics Production Manager

I need an experienced, on-the-ground professional who can take my consumer-electronics project from its current prototype and drawing stage through full production inside China. The core responsibility is to manage product development and production, working directly with suitable factories, engineers, and component vendors until we have a stable line turning out quality-approved units.

You will act as my eyes and ears in China, coordinating all engineering refinements, DFM feedback, tooling approvals, pilot builds, and ultimately mass production. I already have the complete mechanical and electrical drawings, BOM, and a working prototype, so your focus is execution rather than initial design.

Key expectations
• Translate my specifications into clear factory instructions and timelines
• Liaise daily (in Mandarin and English) with factory engineers and purchasing teams
• Track tooling progress, component lead times, and assembly yields
• Solve technical issues quickly, documenting any design tweaks for my review
• Oversee pre-shipment quality checks and ensure all test reports meet agreed standards
• Provide concise weekly reports covering schedule, cost variances, and risk items

Deliverables at project close
1. Approved golden sample signed off by the factory and me
2. Final, locked BOM and process documents reflecting any engineering updates
3. Production run report summarising yield, QC data, and shipment details
