Build Secure E-Commerce Core Features

I’m putting together the foundation of a small e-commerce web app and need a developer who can move quickly while keeping security top of mind.

First, I need a clean login and registration flow that supports two-factor authentication (2FA). Users should enter their email and password, receive a verification code, and only then gain access. Session handling, password resets, and role-based access (admin vs. customer) must be covered so future dashboards can hook right in.

The home page should load fast and showcase featured items with basic “save for later” button already wired. From there, shoppers must be able to refine what they see with a categories filter that works on:
• Product types
• Price ranges
• Location range

Filters should combine smoothly (e.g., “Electronics under $50 within 10 km”) without page reloads—AJAX or similar is fine as long as it feels instantaneous.

For checkout, integrate PayPal end-to-end: client-side SDK, server-side validation, webhooks for payment confirmation, and a simple success/failure callback that I can style later. Sandbox first, then flip to live keys once testing is solid.

2. Responsive login/registration screens with 2FA enabled
3. Home page with functioning cart stubs and the multi-criteria filter
4. PayPal payment flow, tested and documented
5. Brief readme outlining configuration, 2FA secret management, and how to extend categories
