Fix Google Sitemap Indexing Errors

My sitemap.xml is sitting in Google Search Console but still won’t move past “Discovered – currently not indexed”. I’ve already submitted it through the console, and Google flags it with a handful of errors/warnings, yet the pages themselves load fine in a browser.

I need a fresh set of expert eyes to:
• Audit the current XML sitemap and robots.txt for structural or syntax problems that could be blocking crawlers.
• Interpret every error or warning shown in Search Console and map each one to a concrete fix.
• Implement those fixes (or guide me if server access is required), then resubmit and verify that the sitemap is finally accepted and pages begin indexing.

Once complete, send a brief report summarising what was wrong, what you changed, and the post-fix status in Search Console so I can keep a record.

If you’ve untangled similar indexing issues before and are comfortable working with GSC, canonical tags, crawl budgets and XML validation, I’m ready to get this sorted today.
