I need a Power Automate flow that watches a shared cloud folder, opens every Excel file that appears, and then applies complex formulas—think VLOOKUPs, nested IFs, or similar—to designated columns. Once each file has been processed, the flow should compile the updated data into a single, newly generated workbook and drop that finished file into a separate “Processed” folder.
Key points I want covered:
• Source files will sit in a shared cloud location (currently organised as sub-folders inside either OneDrive or Google Drive).
• Formulas are more than simple sums; the automation has to support look-ups across sheets and conditional logic.
• When the combined workbook is created, it must preserve the applied formulas in the cells—not just hard-coded values—so that anyone opening the file later can still audit or refresh the calculations.
Deliverables:
1. The working .zip export of the Power Automate flow (or a direct import link) with clear guidance on required connectors.
2. A short setup note explaining any environment variables, folder paths, and named ranges you used so I can switch them if our structure changes.
3. Proof that the flow processes at least two sample files end-to-end, producing a consolidated workbook in the target folder.
I’m comfortable granting temporary access to a small test area of the shared drive, and I can supply sample spreadsheets that illustrate the exact formula logic. Once the solution runs smoothly, I’ll replicate it across additional folders myself.
