Work Setup: Remote Key Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations: Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Budgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and provide financial forecasts. Tax compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings across multiple states. Audit preparation: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits. Reconciliation: Perform bank and account reconciliations. Financial analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Software proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient financial management. Procurement: Sourcing and supplier management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms. Purchase order management: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels. Vendor relations: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards and timely delivery. Cost control: Track and manage procurement costs to stay within budget. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions. Qualifications/Requirements Must have very good English and no hint of an accent Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: Several years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managed service provider environment. Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AutoTask), strong negotiation skills, proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Microsoft purchasing and hardware). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
