Project overview

The Fintech Onboarding Manager is accountable for fintech enablement dedicated to providing a best-in-class fintech onboarding experience. You will partner with both fintech and internal stakeholders across the business to tightly manage dependencies and to remove roadblocks to drive the fintech onboarding process forward. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Build and manage the Fintech Onboarding team and complex processes end-to-end at Evolve, with the focus of driving results for fintechs per onboarding expectations. Lead, develop, and manage a team of Fintech Onboarding Analysts, relying on key metrics as needed. Define and manage onboarding expectations and enhance fintech review processes as part of fintech onboarding, suitability, review, and oversight. Determine fintech onboarding success criteria informing reporting and KPI creation. Work closely with the VP, customer success and the executive leadership team to drive KPIs related to fintech onboarding. Work well under pressure in an environment of competing priorities while setting realistic delivery targets for fintech onboarding portfolio. Bring process improvement focus to leverage in-house systems/tools and to design automations to improve workflows. Collaborate with senior leaders across multiple business units to scale processes and manage expectations related to the fintech onboarding pipeline. Be a hands-on, scrappy mentor who thrives on coaching and developing a team. Support the internal risk management efforts through active participation in presentations and strategy. Apply broad industry, operational risk, and regulatory knowledge to drive onboarding excellence. Deliver a quality fintech onboarding experience with an eye to the future of the partnership. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred. Minimum of five years related work experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Operations Management, Underwriting, etc. in a fintech or banking environment. An understanding of regulatory requirements for financial institutions. Ability to operate comfortably and independently while navigating ambiguity within a complex environment. Experience running high visibility projects pertaining to enterprise risk, operations, and/or regulatory compliance. Key Competencies: Knowledge of business resiliency, AML/KYC, Compliance, RCSA and operations controls. An elevated level of professionalism, especially regarding relationship management. Forward-thinking team member with exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Experience and confidence interfacing with C-level Executives. Agile thinker with an aptitude for solving complex onboarding challenges and excelling in a results-driven environment.
