About the Role The External Sales/Wholesaler, along with their internal team member, will support and grow Potomacs tactical investment strategies and mutual fund business to financial intermediaries at Broker Dealers like LPL, Cambridge, and Cetera via TAMPs throughout our industry like MWP, Envestnet, OPS, Altruist, etc. Key Responsibilities Represent all products distributed and marketed by Potomac within the territory. Drive sales by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with new and existing advisors. Influence advisor choices within a consultative sales process. Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan, manage the territory, and drive regional sales goals and objectives. Identify advisor needs and provide investment and business solutions. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders). Manage administrative responsibilities according to company policies including, travel and expenses, CRM updates, calendar and schedules, conference call participation, email retention, continuing education, and other requirements. Qualifications/Requirements Were hiring for this position in our Southeast Region (NC, SC, GA, TN, AL) with preference for candidates in the Atlanta or Charlotte metropolitan areas. Must have or be willing to acquire licensing: SIE, Series 6 or 7 and either 63 & 65 or 66. Minimum of 3 years as a mutual fund/VA separate account external or internal wholesaler. Must have in-depth working knowledge and experience with mutual funds and separate accounts. Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations. Self-driven: able to manage territory budget and operate autonomously. Separate managed accounts experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preference for established relationships in the TAMP and Broker Dealer channels.
