Here's the Job: We are seeking an experienced ambitious email marketer who is organized and can create, segment, review, qa, deploy, track, analyze and monitor all email campaigns to increase subscribers, purchases and engagement. Must be able to plan and schedule our recurring newsletters and auto triggered emails months ahead. Must communicate clearly with multiple teams for design, copy and programming to get emails scheduled out on time. The ideal candidate is obsessed with email, meets deadlines, is self-motivated and over communicates with all teams on email campaigns/projects. If this sounds like you, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities Handle the day-to-day creation, execution, planning, reporting, targeting, testing and setup of email marketing campaigns; Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements from Google Analytics and ESP email data; Optimize emails for deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, product level retargeting programs, etc; Manage email lists, maintain high deliverability rates, and focus on email acquisition; Identify target audiences and grow the corresponding email lists; Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts; Make decisions on campaign content, segmentation, personalization and targeting to improve KPIs; Identify opportunities for growth and efficiencies in email campaigns utilizing internal data and industry best practices; Strategize and implement ideas that will help grow subscribers and lower unsubscribes; Ensure that all campaigns are deployed 100% error free with correct targeting, messaging and design; Develop effective email campaign content that is solution based, addresses customer wants that meets the needs of the intended audience; Perform A/B testing to improve conversion rates and revenue (content, email templates, subject lines, timing, etc.); Develop long-term messaging strategies; Requirements Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field; Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with various email management platforms; Minimum 2 years experience in email marketing in online advertising for retail e-commerce site; Preferred work experience with HTML, XSL code, Responsive email design and content management systems; Experience using tools such as Listrak, Bronto, Dotmailer, Sailthru, Maropost or any other marketing automation tool. Excellent written communication and copywriting skills; Experience in developing and optimizing lead generation, lead scoring and lead nurturing campaigns; Strong understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability, user limitations, spam filters and sender reputation; Demonstrated knowledge of email design and best practices including contact strategies, testing, deliverability, and list segmentation; Demonstrated attention to detail; Possesses creativity, analytical skills and takes the initiative; Thorough understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, and ability to generate, analyze and interpret data; Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as a member of a team; A willingness to understand, incorporate, follow and illustrate the company's branded guidelines; Full understanding of CAN-SPAM compliance and other email regulations preferred.
