About the Role A leading waste-to-energy company is seeking a CAPEX Sourcing Associate to drive deflation across high-value capital purchases. This is a 6-month remote contract ideal for a sourcing professional experienced in industrial equipment procurement (e.g., boilers, turbines, emissions systems). Key Responsibilities Lead supplier negotiations and drive cost reduction for major CAPEX categories Identify cost-effective global suppliers for heavy industrial equipment Benchmark pricing, manage RFPs, and support competitive sourcing events Collaborate with technical teams to align specs with procurement strategy Track savings and deliver measurable deflation against budget targets Qualifications 7–10 years of CAPEX sourcing experience Proven record of achieving deflation in industrial or energy sectors Strong negotiation, supplier management, and market research skills Experience in waste-to-energy, utilities, or heavy industrial preferred Contract Details Contract Duration: 6 months Start Date: Immediate Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
