Project overview
We need part-time help with bookkeeping. We are about 6 weeks behind in our day to day bookkeeping and data entree. We unexpectedly lost our "Office Manager / Bookkeeper" about 6 weeks ago. The ideal candidate would be able to catch us up in the next 2-3 weeks. I estimate that it will take about 60 hours to catch us up and then about 20 hours a month to keep us current. I am looking to find an honest person with great references, integrity, communication skills and a proven track record. After we are caught up on the books then I am looking to migrate from using QuickBooks Desktop version to QB Online, and then I am looking to learn how to do the books myself so in the event that I need to in the future, then I can (it is an aspect of the business that I feel the need to be more proficient in). We are a residential service and repair plumbing company. Our sales last year were about $1.5 million with 10 employees, 9 vehicles, about 130 jobs a month and about 120 line items from our checking account, and about another 60 items on two credit cards.
