I’m looking for a developer (or small team) who can build a full-stack web application that streamlines our entire warranty return workflow. The system will be accessed by three distinct user groups—customers, internal staff, and admin/management—so role-based views and permissions are essential from the ground up.
What the app must do
• Customers: create warranty claims through a guided form, upload photos or documents, and follow real-time status updates of every claim they’ve submitted.
• Internal staff: review incoming claims, approve or reject them, add notes, and move each case through predefined states (received, inspected, approved, shipped, closed).
• Admin/Management: access everything above plus on-demand reporting and exportable analytics to spot trends and measure turnaround times.
Core requirements
• Clean email-and-password authentication with the flexibility to bolt on 2FA later.
• A responsive, intuitive UI so users on desktop can work without friction.
• Secure data storage: every file, status change, and note must be logged for audit purposes.
• Modular architecture so future integrations—shipping APIs, CRM hooks, or BI dashboards—are straightforward.
Deliverables
1. Production-ready codebase (frontend and backend) pushed to our private Git repo.
2. Database schema and migration scripts.
3. Deployment guide for our preferred cloud host (AWS or Azure—your choice, just specify).
4. Brief user manual and inline technical documentation.
Acceptance criteria
• Customers can submit a claim end-to-end in under 3 minutes.
• Staff actions and status transitions are reflected instantly for the customer.
• Admin can generate date-range and product-specific reports with no manual SQL.
Please review the request for quote and Scope of Works attached. If you’ve built similar portals or comparable stacks and you’re confident you can hit the criteria above, . I’m ready to get started as soon as I find the right partner.
