Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boomi Integration Architect with deep experience in architecting, designing, and governing integrations between enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with the Boomi Enterprise Platform and a strong understanding of API strategy and lifecycle governance, master data management, system integrations, EDI and data transformation.
The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, D365, Workday, or Salesforce. The candidate should also be experienced in database and file-based integrations. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively lead architecture discussions with business and technical stakeholders, define integration strategy, and deliver scalable solutions.
The candidate should have experience owning the integration architecture across multiple concurrent projects and teams. This includes defining reference architectures and standards, establishing governance, overseeing code reviews and deployment strategy, and providing technical direction to development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and own end-to-end integration architecture, including runtime topology (Atom, Molecule, Atom Cloud, Private Cloud), environment strategy, and deployment models.
Establish integration standards, reusable frameworks, design patterns, and reference architectures adopted across delivery teams.
Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of integrations built on the Boomi platform, providing hands-on guidance where needed.
Architect integrations between enterprise systems such as NetSuite, SAP, D365, Workday, or Salesforce, and other third-party applications.
Define API strategy and standards, including REST/SOAP design, versioning, and use of the REST Client connector.
Deep familiarity with the Boomi Enterprise Platform, including Integration, APIM, DataHub, Flow, Event Streams, and AgentStudio
Design and implement scalable integration workflows and reusable components using tools such as REST APIs, message queues, and other cloud-based solutions.
Define data mapping, transformation, and validation approaches, and review implementations for quality and consistency.
Establish monitoring, alerting, logging, and error handling standards; lead root cause analysis on complex production issues.
Own performance, scalability, and capacity planning for the integration platform.
Define security architecture for integrations, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and data protection.
Lead current-state assessments, target-state design, and migration roadmaps (including legacy or competing iPaaS to Boomi).
Partner with business stakeholders and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into integration solution designs.
Provide effort estimates, solution options, and level-of-effort inputs for proposals and statements of work.
Mentor senior and junior developers; chair design reviews and architecture review boards.
Own architecture documentation, including solution design documents, integration catalogs, and API specifications.
Experience:
Advanced English communication skills
12+ years of experience in enterprise application integration
5+ years of hands-on Boomi design and development experience
Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale, multi-system Boomi programs
Experience working in enterprise integration environments with hybrid cloud/on-premise systems
Experience owning integration architecture across multiple workstreams and mentoring developers and senior developers
Experience performing code reviews, deployment management, and production support

Experience with integration monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis
Experience supporting production environments with SLA-driven support models

Experience with platform governance, licensing/connector consumption planning, and total cost of ownership considerations
Consulting or client-facing experience required
Skill Requirements:
