I want a seasoned business analyst to zero-in on process improvement—specifically workflow optimization within our task-management chain. Right now assignments bounce between people and platforms, causing delays and murky ownership.
Your mission is to map the current task-management flow end-to-end, expose every bottleneck, and design a streamlined future-state process that cuts hand-offs, clarifies responsibilities, and shortens cycle time. I’m open to whatever mix of observation, data pulls, stakeholder interviews, and benchmark research you normally use; just be ready to back recommendations with clear metrics.
Deliverables I expect:
• A visual “as-is” process map with quantified pain points
• A gap analysis that connects those pains to lost hours or rework
• A “to-be” workflow diagram, including suggested tools or automations (e.g., JIRA, Asana, monday.com—use what fits)
• A phased implementation plan with quick wins, owner assignments, and measurable success criteria
I’ll provide access to existing SOPs, project boards, and team calendars as soon as we kick off. Turnaround on the diagnostic phase should be roughly two weeks, with the optimization blueprint following one week later. If anything in that timeline looks tight, flag it early; data-driven quality trumps speed.
