Streamlined WordPress Admin Dashboard

Our current back-end buries everyday tasks under layers of menus our non-technical teammates will never touch. I want the admin area pared down so an office manager can log in, see only what matters, and finish updates in minutes—not wander through twenty irrelevant options.

Here’s the experience I have in mind:

• A custom landing page that surfaces the three or four actions our team carries out most often, displayed as large, friendly buttons.
• Role-based visibility rules so the office manager, content editor, and sales team each see only the menus they truly need.
• Lean editing screens: unused meta boxes and fields gone, plain-language labels in place of WordPress jargon.
• Quick-access links tucked into the toolbar for those repeat jobs.
• A short screen-recorded walkthrough (voice-over optional) so new staff can self-onboard.

I value usability above all and expect clean, maintainable code—preferably a lightweight custom plugin or functions.php additions rather than stacking third-party plugins. If a request will hurt clarity, you’ll push back and explain why.

You’ll deliver fully commented code, any CSS/JS assets, and the screencast file. Once installed on our staging site we’ll run a short acceptance test: each role logs in, completes its core task unaided, and nothing outside its scope is visible.
