I have a steady flow of mechanical components that must be documented and visualised in both SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD. For each part or assembly, I will supply basic sketches, reference files or change notes; what I need back are clean, production-ready assets created to the exact specifications.
The work typically covers:
• 2D mechanical drawings with complete dimensions, tolerances and call-outs in DWG/DXF and PDF
• 3D part and assembly models in native SOLIDWORKS format (plus STEP/IGES for sharing)
• Iterative design edits or redesigns when I submit red-line mark-ups or ECOs
Your files must follow standard mechanical drafting conventions, use logical layer/feature naming, and open without errors or missing references. I rely on these deliverables for manufacture, so accuracy and a quick turn-around are essential.
If you are comfortable switching between SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD to hit these targets, let’s move to the first component and agree on a hand-off date.
