I need an experienced IIS specialist to turn my currently non-secure site into a fully HTTPS site using the SSL certificate I already own. The website sits on a standalone computer, so you will be working directly with a single IIS instance and no additional sub-domains.
Before we bind the certificate, there are a couple of issues on the live site that must be resolved. Once those are out of the way, I expect the certificate installed, HTTPS bindings configured, and a clean HTTP→HTTPS redirect put in place so every page loads without browser warnings.
Acceptance criteria
• All existing site issues fixed and pages render correctly on HTTP before SSL work begins
• SSL certificate imported, bound to the site, and trusted by major browsers
• Automatic redirect forces every request to HTTPS
• Site passes an online SSL checker with an A rating or better
If you have solid IIS experience and can guide me through any firewall or port adjustments we may need on this standalone machine, let’s get this secured.
