I’m gathering rigorous, source-based material on the life and reign of Samarth Ashok Bharat and now need a specialist who can work directly with government records. Your task is to locate, access, and examine relevant files held in national, state, or district archives, extract the information that sheds fresh light on political decisions, social reforms, battles, and personal correspondence, then organise everything into a clearly referenced research dossier.

What I expect from you
• A catalogue of every government document consulted, including call numbers and holding institutions
• High-resolution scans or certified copies of key records (where reproduction is permitted)
• An annotated summary for each source that explains context, reliability, and how it relates to Ashok Bharat
• A synthesis report (≈8–10 pp) outlining major findings, gaps in the record, and suggestions for further inquiry

Ideal profile
You have proven experience with archival research, are comfortable navigating India’s National Archives and state repositories, can decipher older scripts, and understand citation standards (Chicago/Turabian preferred). Familiarity with tools such as Archive Finder, Zotero, and OCR software will help you move quickly.

Acceptance criteria
1. All documents traceable via complete citations.
2. Scans legible at 300 dpi or higher.
3. Synthesis report delivered in editable Word and PDF formats, free of plagiarism and with footnotes.

If this falls within your expertise, tell me which archives you would target first and any preliminary leads you already see. I’m ready to start as soon as you are.
