I need clear, actionable insight into how and why my customers buy. You will work exclusively with our raw sales-transaction data and turn it into a story I can use for both day-to-day administration and broader financial planning.

Scope of work
• Prepare and clean the sales-transaction files so every SKU, timestamp, price, discount, and customer reference aligns correctly.
• Analyse purchasing patterns, basket combinations, seasonality, and price-sensitivity to reveal what drives conversion.
• Highlight the segments or cohorts that generate the highest lifetime value and flag any anomalies that need managerial attention.
• Translate findings into plain-language recommendations I can feed straight into budgeting, inventory, and marketing decisions.

Deliverables
1. A concise written report (PDF or Google Doc) outlining key customer-behaviour insights, supporting charts, and next-step actions.
2. An Excel or Google Sheets workbook containing the cleaned dataset, pivot tables, and formulas used.
3. (Optional but appreciated) A lightweight dashboard in Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio that I can refresh with new data.

Acceptance criteria
• All calculations are reproducible from the data I provided.
• Visuals are labelled clearly and match figures quoted in the report.
• Recommendations tie directly back to the behavioural findings—no generic advice.

If additional data sources such as demographic or website analytics become relevant later, we can expand the project, but for now the focus remains firmly on the sales transactions. Let me know your preferred tools, estimated timeline, and any clarifying questions so we can get started.
