Safety Consultant - Victoria, Australia - Face-to-Face and Remote work

I’m looking for a safety specialist who can support small businesses with end-to-end safety compliance. We are looking to engage a contractor to deliver outcomes to our existing and growing client base.

We are not looking for someone who will just do an inspection and issue a whole lot of documentation and then wish everyone the best and leave behind business owners with more work and nothing actually implemented.

The role will be imbedded into the small businesses on a fractional basis, like you are a member of the team. For example - Identify hazards AND implement the controls. Conduct toolbox meetings AND ensure consultation is recorded. Manage incidents from start to end. Be the return-to-work coordinator. Monthly reporting to business owners. Develop safety onboarding AND deliver it.

We have several clients with differing scopes and requirements. They might have their own documentation and systems that need management, or they need something from scratch. They might know what to do but just don't have the resource to do it. They might not have a very good safety culture. But what is common with all of them is they want to fix it and be compliant.

Ideally you are familiar with building trades and automotive industries as well as industry software like Mitti (Safety Culture). Must be based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and willing to travel in Melbourne Metro and occasionally to regional areas.
