Responsive Personal Finance SaaS UI/UX

I’m creating a responsive SaaS platform that makes day-to-day money management simple for retirees. The core value is effortless expense tracking, so every screen must surface spending insights first, with clear bar-graph visualizations that remain legible on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Visual tone
Modern, calm, and trustworthy—clean typography, accessible colours, and data-driven layouts that never overwhelm an older audience. Charts should be bold yet simple, with tooltips and large touch targets.

Scope of work
Design the full end-to-end experience in Figma, from onboarding through subscription management, then link everything into an interactive prototype that demonstrates the key user flows.

Deliverables
• Responsive desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts for:
 – User onboarding & account setup
 – Main financial dashboard
 – Transaction history with search and filters
 – Budget creation & tracking
 – Savings goals section
 – Spending analytics & reports (bar-graph focus)
 – Subscription management
 – Notifications & alerts
 – User profile & settings
• Reusable Figma design system (colour, type, components, chart library)
• Clickable prototype showing critical paths: first-time setup, adding accounts, reviewing expenses, creating a budget, adjusting a savings goal, upgrading the plan
• Handoff file with organised layers, styles, and naming conventions ready for development

Acceptance criteria
1. All layouts adapt fluidly from 320 px wide up to large desktops without losing clarity.
2. Bar-graph modules meet WCAG AA colour contrast.
3. Prototype interactions run smoothly in Figma without custom plugins.
4. Design system components cover at least 90 % of repeated UI elements.
