About the Opportunity

DearOne Jewels is looking for a talented Freelance Product Photographer & Video Editor to work on photography and video content for our gold and silver jewellery and products.

The freelancer will be responsible for handling the complete visual content process, from **product setup and photography to video shooting, editing and final delivery**.

We are looking for someone who understands product photography, lighting, reflections, camera angles and professional post-production, especially when working with **gold, silver, polished metals, gemstones and detailed jewellery designs**.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct professional photoshoots for **gold and silver jewellery and products**
* Photograph products for our website, catalogues, social media and marketing
* Handle camera positioning, product positioning and different camera angles
* Set up and adjust lighting positions according to the product and desired visual effect
* Understand reflections, highlights, shadows and light direction on gold and silver surfaces
* Capture accurate metal colour, finish, texture and jewellery details
* Shoot close-up and macro photographs of jewellery
* Shoot product videos, reels and short-form social media content
* Edit and professionally retouch product photographs
* Perform colour correction, background removal, image cleanup and detailed retouching
* Edit product videos and reels with suitable transitions, music, effects and pacing
* Prepare website-ready product images in the required dimensions and formats
* Maintain consistency in lighting, colour and visual presentation across the product catalogue
* Suggest creative photography and video concepts suitable for gold and silver jewellery
* Use AI tools where appropriate to improve photography, editing and content production

Photography Skills Required

Strong knowledge of:

* Gold jewellery photography
* Silver jewellery photography
* Gold and silver product photography

* Camera settings and lens selection
* Camera angles and product positioning
* Macro photography
* Focus and depth of field
* Lighting positions and lighting setups
* Reflections and highlights on gold, silver and polished surfaces

* Colour accuracy and product detailing

Photo & Video Editing Software

Good working knowledge of the following is preferred:

* Adobe Photoshop* – Product retouching, jewellery cleanup, colour correction and image enhancement
* Adobe Premiere Pro* – Professional video editing
* CapCut*– Reels and short-form social media videos
* Adobe Illustrator* – Basic creative design and artwork
* DaVinci Resolve* – Video editing and colour grading

AI Skills

Knowledge of AI-based photography and creative tools will be an added advantage.

Experience with AI for:

* Image enhancement
* Background removal and generation
* Product image cleanup
* Creative image editing
* Image retouching
* Video enhancement
* AI-assisted video creation
* Improving photography and post-production workflows

Requirements

*2–5 years of relevant experience
* Previous experience in **gold jewellery, silver jewellery, fashion, luxury products or commercial product photography** is preferred
* Strong understanding of photography, lighting and camera positioning
* Good knowledge of photographing reflective surfaces such as gold and silver
* Strong photo and video editing skills
* Ability to independently handle the shoot from setup to final edited output
* Professional camera and photography equipment preferred
* Strong attention to detail
* Creative eye for product presentation
* Must be available for **onsite shoots in Coimbatore**
* Must have a portfolio or previous work samples

Freelance Payment

Freelance / project-based payment will be discussed based on experience, skills, portfolio, equipment and project requirements.**

We are open to working with freelancers on a project basis or for recurring gold and silver jewellery and product shoots**, depending on the quality of work and project requirements.
