Publication Company Informational Website Build

I need a clean, modern website built from the ground up for my publication company. The site’s main purpose is to present our story, mission, team, and submission guidelines while showcasing the books we publish.

Because many of our readers like to buy directly from us, the build must also include:
• Secure user accounts for readers and authors
• A fully configured payment-gateway integration (Stripe or PayPal is fine)

A full shopping-cart flow is not essential right now, but please structure the code so that adding one later will be straightforward.

The book catalogue should be easy for me to expand, with fields for cover image, blurb, author bio, sample chapter, and buy-now button that hooks into the gateway above. I’m comfortable editing in a CMS, so WordPress with a custom theme or a similarly intuitive stack is preferred, provided it is responsive, SEO-ready, and simple for non-technical staff to maintain.

1. Responsive, production-ready website deployed to my hosting account
2. Admin area/CMS documentation and a short hand-over call
3. Source files and credentials delivered upon acceptance
