Website Design & Development – Project Scope
We are looking for an experienced web designer/developer to create a professional, modern and mobile-friendly website for our business from scratch.
The objective is to establish a strong and credible online presence, clearly communicate our services, and make it very easy for prospective clients to contact us.

Scope of Work
The successful freelancer will be responsible for the complete design and development of the website, including the visual identity and deployment-ready website.
1. Visual Identity & Website Design
Develop a clean, professional and consistent visual identity for the website, including:
• Colour palette
• Typography/font selection
• Page layouts and visual style
• Icons, Images and other supporting design elements
• Consistent styling across desktop, tablet and mobile
• Basic style guide covering colours, fonts, headings, buttons and spacing
The overall design should convey professionalism, reliability, trust and simplicity.

2. Website Development
The website should:
• Contain approximately 12 pages
• Be fully responsive and mobile-friendly
• Work across modern browsers
• Have fast page-loading performance
• Use clean and maintainable code
• Follow basic SEO best practices / SEO optimised
• Include appropriate page titles, meta descriptions and heading structures
• Be easy to maintain and update in the future
• Be compatible with hosting through Crazy Domains
HTML5/CSS3, WordPress or another lightweight and easily maintainable solution may be proposed. Please explain your recommended technology/platform in your proposal and quote accordingly.

3. Proposed Pages
The final structure will be agreed during the project, but is expected to include:

2. About Us
3. Services Overview
3.1. Individual/key service pages
4. Blog / Articles
5. Frequently Asked Questions
6. Contact Us
7. Privacy Policy, Terms/Disclaimer, as required

The total website should not exceed approximately 14 pages. Privacy, Terms / Disclaimers may be simple text pages.

4. Contact form
A key objective of the website is to make it extremely easy for prospective clients to contact us.
The Contact section/page must include:
• Business Name
• Business phone number
• Business email address
• Office/business address
• Google Maps integration
• Clear "Contact Us" or "Get in Touch" buttons throughout the website
• Mobile-friendly click-to-call functionality
The contact form should capture data into MS office form or any other tool in MS365 suite and include appropriate spam protection.

5. Blog / Articles
Include a simple blog or articles section where we can publish business information, updates and useful articles.
The preferred solution should allow us to add new articles in the future without requiring significant technical knowledge.

6. Content & Images
We will provide the core business information, our Logo, contents and service details.
The freelancer should:
• Structure and present the supplied content professionally
• Recommend improvements to website layout and content placement
• Source or recommend suitable royalty-free images/icons where required
• Optimise images for web performance
Please clearly state in your proposal whether content writing/copywriting and stock images are included in your quotation.

7. Testing & Deployment
The freelancer will be responsible for:
• Desktop, tablet and mobile testing
• Cross-browser testing
• Testing all links, buttons and forms
• Basic performance optimisation
• Deployment to our Crazy Domains hosting environment
• Final verification after deployment

We can provide the required hosting/access details at the appropriate stage.

8. Deliverables
The final handover must include:
• Fully completed and functioning website
• All website source code/files
• All editable design source files
• Ready-to-use image/logo/design exports used on the website
• Brief website style guide covering colours, fonts and spacing
• Deployment and maintenance instructions
• Administrator/login details where applicable
• Confirmation that all forms, links and mobile layouts have been tested
• Transfer of the completed

9. Freelancer Requirements
Please include the following with your proposal:
• Examples of similar websites you have designed and developed
• Your recommended platform/technology and why
• Estimated completion timeframe
• Number of design concepts/revisions included
• Whether content writing is included
• Whether images/icons are included
• Whether deployment to Crazy Domains is included
• Any ongoing licence, plugin or subscription costs
• Post-launch support/warranty period
• Total fixed project price

Preference will be given to freelancers who can demonstrate experience creating professional service/business websites that are clean, fast, trustworthy and easy to maintain. Those who give example of their work, will be given preference.
