My organization is expanding its security operations and needs a seasoned analyst to reinforce day-to-day monitoring, alert triage, and incident investigation. The role centres on:
• Reviewing real-time security events, separating noise from true positives, and escalating only actionable threats.
• Conducting deep-dive analysis on high-priority incidents, then documenting root cause, impact, and recommended containment or eradication steps.
• Fine-tuning our SIEM rules and dashboards so the signal remains sharp—whether those logs flow into Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, or another platform we decide to adopt.
• Providing concise daily summaries and a comprehensive weekly report that highlights trends, gaps, and quick-win improvements.
Success is measured by reduced false positives, faster mean time to detect/respond, and clear, well-structured incident documentation I can hand directly to leadership. If you deliver thorough analysis, actionable insights, and reliable communication, you’ll fit seamlessly into our security workflow.
