US Maritime Law Research

I need an expert to help me find and understand a specific US maritime law. This law states that a shipping company must pay a seafarer their full tour wage, even if the seafarer is sent home due to medical unfitness before the tour is completed. A Captain sent me home medically unfit even though the Doctor said I was Fit. My Tour was for 120 up to 180 days but I only worked 30 days. I requested for the Company to Pay me for the rest of my Tour and the company said no because the ship was a domestic route not overseas so they don't have to pay me. I did research and according to what I read, I should be paid. I wanted a law to use.

I'm not starting from scratch, as I have a few references, but I definitely need more.
