I’m building a full-featured e-commerce website focused on home-goods and need an experienced developer to take it from concept to launch. Shoppers will register with their mobile number, receive a one-time SMS code, and only gain access once that code is confirmed—security here is non-negotiable.

Once logged in, users must be able to explore the catalogue through keyword search or category browsing, examine individual product pages (images, specs, price), place items in a persistent cart, and complete checkout. At checkout they choose between Home Delivery or Store Pickup, enter or confirm their address, and pay online. For the initial release I’ll be accepting Bank Transfer payments, but the solution should be architected so that card processors or PayPal can be slotted in later with minimal refactor.

Post-purchase, customers should see real-time order status from “Processing” through “Delivered / Collected,” and I need an internal dashboard where I can manage inventory, update order states, and issue refunds when required.

What I’ll look for in your proposal:
• Framework or stack you recommend (Laravel, Django, Shopify app, headless React + Node—open to convincing arguments)
• Approach to reliable SMS OTP delivery and rate limiting
• Integration plan for secure server-to-server bank-transfer confirmation
• Responsive UI strategy so the store feels native on mobile as well as desktop
• Timeline with key milestones from UX wireframes to production deployment and QA

The finished site must be clean, fast, and intuitive for everyday shoppers, with data handled over HTTPS, passwords hashed, and GDPR-compliant storage practices. If you’ve shipped similar projects before, show me; I’m ready to move quickly.
