Next.js Optimization & Feature Upgrade

I recently migrated my simple HTML site on Netlify to a Next.js app on Vercel with a lot of help from AI tools. As a non-coder, I need a seasoned Next.js developer to give the project a professional finish before I hit the “go live” button.

What matters most to me right now is rock-solid code structure and long-term maintainability. I’d like the existing pages and components to be refactored, clearly commented, and reorganized into reusable modules so I can keep iterating with AI assistance without breaking things.

New functionality is also on my roadmap:
• User authentication (email / social login is fine—open to the best-fit auth provider).
• Clean API integrations for future data sources; a small sample REST call wired into a page or two will be enough to show me the pattern.

Acceptance criteria
• All current routes build and deploy successfully on Vercel with zero TypeScript or ESLint errors.
• Codebase follows a modular folder structure with meaningful comments on every component and utility.
• Authentication flow works end-to-end locally and on Vercel preview.
• At least one example API call returns live data and renders on the page.

I’m comfortable collaborating in GitHub, happily grant Vercel access, and am eager to learn from your commits and pull-request notes. If something in the stack can be improved with automated tooling or another AI workflow, let’s use it—I’m all for efficiency as long as the final code stays readable.

Timeline is flexible within reason; quality and clarity come first.
