Next.js and Node.js Feature Extension

Hi,

I’m a Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in **Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and frontend development**.

I understand that you already have the application architecture and need a developer to extend it with a new feature.

For this task, I’ll use:

* **Next.js + TypeScript** – to build the new responsive frontend page and user selection interface
* **React components & hooks** – to manage UI state, user selections, and interactions
* **Node.js** – to develop and integrate the backend functionality
* **REST APIs** – to save and retrieve the selected user information
* **SQL** – to store and manage the data in the existing database structure
* **API integration** – to connect the Next.js frontend with the Node.js backend
* **Validation & error handling** – to make sure the data is properly validated and the user receives clear feedback
* **Testing** – to test the complete frontend → API → database flow

My approach will be to first understand your existing **Node.js + Next.js + SQL architecture**, then implement the feature according to your current project structure without unnecessarily changing the existing code.

The workflow will be:

1. Understand the existing architecture and codebase.
2. Build the new page with the required options.
3. Allow users to select their desired options.
4. Create the required APIs using Node.js.
5. Connect the APIs with the Next.js frontend.
6. Save the selected information into SQL.
7. Test the complete functionality and fix any issues.

I’m available to start immediately and can also work with you on a long-term basis if the first project goes well.
