Job Description
Hi there! We are looking for a Food Regulatory Specialist to help us create a single, hybrid label for our food product. We want to sell the exact same product in both the USA and the UK, so the label needs to follow both FDA and UK FSA rules.
We need your expertise to tell us exactly what text, formats, and panels to put on the packaging so we don't face any legal issues in either country.
What you will do:
• Check our ingredients and write the compliant ingredients list (with proper allergen formatting for both US & UK).
• Help us design a hybrid nutrition panel or dual-panel layout that works for both markets.
• Guide us on mandatory details like net weight (oz and grams), manufacturer address, etc.
• Create a simple text guide/layout blueprint that we can give to our graphic designer.
What we are looking for:
• Good experience with US FDA and UK food labeling laws.
• Experience in helping brands launch products internationally.
• Note: You don’t need to do the graphic design; we just need your compliance and text expertise!
