Music Release Campaign Manager — Execution Focused
I’m an independent recording artist preparing two upcoming single releases and looking for a self-starting campaign manager to take ownership of the day-to-day rollout from pre-release through post-release.
I need someone who can execute, problem-solve, and see a campaign through to completion. I’m open to ideas and strategy, but I need someone who can take an idea and turn it into action—not simply give me a list of things I should do.
You’ll be responsible for managing the campaign, content scheduling, social media, creator/influencer outreach, podcast/blog/media outreach, promotional opportunities, follow-ups, deadlines, and campaign tracking. Use the resources available, get creative when something is missing, and look for opportunities beyond the obvious.
I’m a busy mother and working artist, so I need someone who can take work off my plate and operate independently without constant hand-holding. I should not have to manage the person I hired to manage the campaign.
I value privacy, so the campaign should remain music-focused rather than relying heavily on my personal life.
I’m looking for someone who treats a project like it’s their responsibility to get it done—proactive, resourceful, persistent, creative, and willing to go above and beyond.
Previous music-industry experience is helpful but not required. What matters most is that you can demonstrate a project or campaign you personally managed from beginning to completion and explain what you actually did to make it happen.
Communication: Must be responsive during agreed working hours and available for occasional phone/video calls when needed.
Confidentiality: An NDA and independent contractor/work-for-hire agreement will be required before work begins. All campaign materials, unreleased music, creative assets, and business information must remain confidential.
