I need a complete Microsoft Access solution that lets me enter both customer information and insurance plan data, then instantly:
• calculate personalized premiums,
• display several plans in a clear side-by-side view, and
• output a polished comparison report I can save or email as PDF/Excel.
Clean, well-structured tables, user-friendly data-entry forms, and VBA-driven queries will be essential so the workflow feels seamless to non-technical staff. I’ll supply sample customer and plan records the moment we start; the database must be ready to handle larger real-world datasets without bogging down.
Deliverables
– A compiled .accdb (or split front-/back-end) with all tables, forms, queries, and reports in place
– Source file with commented VBA for future tweaks
– Brief setup guide so I can deploy it to other machines
Acceptance criteria
1. Enter a customer profile, pick any selection of plans, press “Compare”: premiums auto-calculate and appear in one row per plan.
2. Clicking “Generate Report” produces a print-ready comparison that matches the on-screen figures.
3. All calculations remain accurate when I update base rates or benefit values in the plan table.
Speed is crucial—I’m aiming to review a working prototype within days and have the final version signed off as soon as possible.
