I’m at the final stretch of launching a mobile + web marketplace built with Ionic React on the front-end and NestJS on the back-end. All core features work; however, the product listing pages still feel rough and are holding back the overall experience.
Your mission is to step into the existing repo, tighten up the layout of every product card and detail snippet, and leave the page looking and behaving like a polished, production-ready interface. The priority is the presentation of information—pricing, ratings, stock status, variant options, and calls-to-action must surface clearly and consistently on any screen size. While doing so you’ll be free to adjust styles, spacing, and small interactions, but the underlying data contracts and routes should remain intact.
Key expectations
• Refactor the listing component(s) in Ionic React to deliver a cleaner, more intuitive product information layout.
• Keep performance in mind: lazy-load media assets, limit excessive re-renders, and respect our Lighthouse targets.
• Touch NestJS only where necessary to expose or reshape data required by the new layout.
• Commit clean, well-documented TypeScript code and brief me through a pull request.
Done means
1. New layout renders flawlessly on iOS, Android, and modern browsers.
2. No regression in existing navigation, cart, or checkout flows.
3. Unit tests updated or added for the affected components.
4. A concise hand-off note so the in-house team can extend the pattern elsewhere.
The repo lives in GitHub, CI is already wired, and Figma designs are ready for reference. If you thrive on crafting sharp UI in Ionic/React and can move quickly within a NestJS environment, I’d love to collaborate and get this marketplace over the finish line.
