Manual Entry From Scanned Text

I have a collection of scanned documents that contain plain text data. Because the scans are fairly clear yet still unsuitable for OCR, this job is strictly manual entry. Your role is to read the text data on each scanned page and key it, word-for-word, into the template I provide (Word or Excel—your choice is fine).

Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed. Please preserve basic formatting such as paragraph breaks, headers, and any obvious emphasis. If a word is unreadable, just flag it so I can double-check the original scan.

Deliverables
• Completed digital file containing all transcribed pages
• A brief log noting any flagged or ambiguous sections

That’s it. Once the first batch is finished to spec, there will likely be follow-on work under the same process.
