Magento 2 Hyvä Theme Upgrade

I am moving my store from the default Luma design to the Hyvä theme and I want the switch to translate into tangible performance gains. The checkout page is the first screen that needs to go live on Hyvä, followed by the rest of the site, so that is where I’d like you to focus your energy.

The brief in a nutshell
• Migrate the store to Hyvä without breaking any existing Magento 2 functionality or extensions.
• Raise overall speed, with special attention to page-load time, database efficiency, and server response.
• Deliver everything inside one month.

What success looks like
- Checkout built on Hyvä, fully responsive and pixel-perfect against my design files.
- Page-load metrics (LCP, FCP, TTI) clearly faster than the current Luma setup; I’ll validate with PageSpeed Insights and WebPageTest.
- Average server TTFB under 200 ms and no slow queries showing up in Magento’s query log or New Relic.
- Clean, version-controlled code (Git) and deployment notes so I can roll the theme to staging and production without surprises.

You are free to leverage Varnish, Redis, ElasticSearch tuning, or any other tooling you trust—as long as the end result meets the numbers above and remains upgrade-safe for Magento 2 core.
